Hi! My name is Helena and I'm so happy to be in the exciting and growing field of health coaching!
MY MISSION
I partner with you, my clients, to help educate, guide, and empower you to make the lifestyle and behavior changes that you determine are important to your overall health and well-being. Together, we develop goals that align with your values, and action plans to achieve them. I understand how difficult it is to develop better habits and make changes in your life, but I believe everyone is capable of change with the right support and guidance. I love helping my clients feel more in control of the many dimensions that encompass one's well-being.
My personal health journey started with the basics of nutrition and exercise, and over time I've incorporated mindfulness, meditation, stress management, sleep training, self-care, and positive psychology into my everyday life and work. I’m open to new ideas and continually make modifications to make my life and routines more fun, interesting, current, engaging, and focused.
PERSONALIZED SUPPORT FOR YOU
Since each person's journey is unique, all coaching programs are tailored specifically for you. My coaching practice focuses on women, primarily those within a broad middle-aged group. It gives me great satisfaction to help my adult clients make and sustain positive changes in their lives. I am also experienced with family health and wellness, especially those leading busy lives with young children. From an early age, this demonstrates the importance of good nutrition and exercise, positive habits and attitudes, and a lifelong commitment to health and well-being.
My guidance is done in a positive, respectful and non-judgmental manner, and your needs are always at the forefront. Most importantly, I enjoy what I’m doing and I love to see my clients succeed!
MY BACKGROUND
I am a National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC), and a Certified Health Coach through Dr. Sears Wellness Institute. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, an MBA in Organizational Psychology, and years of experience in corporate Human Resources roles. Some fun activities I enjoy are spending time with family and friends, traveling, playing guitar, exercising, and cooking. Over the past few years cooking has become an increasingly important part of eating and enjoying healthier meals.
